Instructions for candidates:
What follows is a data sheet and a brief questionnaire for all
candidates whose names will appear on the March 18 ballot.
Responses will be shared with readers of The Eagle.
We ask that all candidates, even those candidates who are
unopposed - complete the data sheet and questionnaire; we
believe voters can still gain valuable perspective learning these
candidates' take on the issues. Copy and paste the questions into a
word processor. Completed questionnaires may be sent to The
Eagle, PO Box 493, Cambridge, NY 12816 or by email to
eaglenews@gmail.com. If you submit a picture of yourself, we will
also print that along with the answers to the questionnaire.

1. Please tell us why you are running for office or seeking
re-election.
2. What in your personal, civic or professional experience
recommends your election or return to office?
3. If elected or returned to office, are there specific policies or
initiatives you would undertake as priorities?

increase in the cost of living; i.e, taxes, fuel etc. To what extent are
you satisfied or dissatisfied with government spending? Are there
specific changes you would seek to enact?
5. There has been discussion at all levels of government about the
need to increase the number of shared services between
municipalities as a way to keep spending down and help the

your village and other municipalities? Will promoting shared
